The club

A volunteer club since 1994

Work parties, mowing, basket installs, layout changes. It’s all driven by club members and volunteers.

Skyline Wilderness Park

Two courses inside a 900-acre county park

The Napa Disc Golf Club has been playing and building here since 1994. Both courses sit inside Skyline Wilderness Park on the east side of the valley, 900 acres of oak hills and grassland with the vineyards below. The upper eighteen climbs into the hills and plays long for advanced and intermediate players. The lower layout sits on gentler ground, and a newer player can walk it in an afternoon.

The club is here to grow the sport in Napa and the valley around it. In practice that means keeping both courses in shape, running leagues every week, putting on sanctioned tournaments, and getting new players out for a first round. Membership is open to anyone who plays at Skyline.

Weeklies

Five leagues a week plus a monthly women’s round. $5 to play, handicapped scoring.

Tournaments

The Vintage Cup each February, a PDGA event the club has run since 1995.

Starting out

The lower course is the gentler of the two and the right place for a first round.

Membership

Open to anyone who plays here. The quickest way in is to turn up to a weekly.

The weeklies

The schedule follows the daylight, so the line-up changes twice a year. These are the leagues running this week.

Start times move with the season. UDisc carries the current details for every event.

Upper weeklies sometimes run a themed format: three-disc challenge, gimmick disc, a PDGA league event. Ideas are welcome, bring them to the club.
